Trial Division

The Trial Division is responsible for conducting hearings in contested cases and ruling on motions.

The Division schedules and holds hearings for those claims in which an evidentiary hearing was requested by a party or in cases where mediation conference was either inappropriate or did not result in resolution of the pending issues. Hearings are held in the county where the injury occurs, a contiguous county or a county within 50 miles of the injury.
