From Atlanta and Cobb & Bartow Counties:
Drive north from Atlanta on I-75 and take the Rome--Canton Exit (Exit 290), which is just north of Cartersville, down onto Highway 20. Turn LEFT UNDER I-75, and drive west approximately 2.3 miles, past a Wal-Mart, to a red light & intersection where the highway runs into Tennessee Street. You will know that you are at this intersection because there is a Shell station and a Huddle House restaurant on the other side of it. Turn LEFT onto Tennessee Street then, almost immediately turn RIGHT up a ramp that connects with Highway 41, also known as the Joe Frank Harris Parkway. Drive north approximately 2.8 miles on this highway until you reach the Rome exit to Highway 411. After you take this exit, drive west approximately 16.5 miles on 411 until you reach the city limit of Rome, at which point there is a red light. This is the first red light you will encounter in Floyd County, and to the left of it is a Shell gas station/convenience store. At this red light, turn RIGHT onto the S R 1 Loop (also known as Veterans Memorial Highway and the Rome By-Pass.) After making the turn, continue on this four lane highway for approximately 7.3 miles and go through 4 red lights. This will bring you to a 5th red light, which is at the entrance to State Mutual Stadium, the baseball stadium of the minor league Rome Braves. At that intersection, turn LEFT onto Riverside Parkway and drive south for slightly more than two-tenths of a mile. At that point, turn into the RIVERSIDE BUSINESS PARK, which will be on your left. Drive straight back to Building 512, which is the building furthest back from the entrance. The Workers' Compensation office is in SUITE 400 of that building.
From Armuchee and Chattooga County:
Drive south on Highway 27, also known as the Summerville Highway, to Rome. As you near the city, you will go past Mount Berry Square Mall on the left and then past the entrance to Berry College on the right, before you come to the intersection with S.R. 1 Loop, which is also known as Veterans Memorial Highway and the Rome By-Pass. Turn LEFT there, then drive approximately eight tenths of a mile over the Oostanaula River to a red light at the entrance of State Mutual Stadium, the baseball stadium of the Rome Braves. Turn RIGHT at this intersection onto Riverside Parkway and drive south for slightly more than two tenths of a mile to the entrance to the RIVERSIDE BUSINESS PARK, which will be on the left. Turn into the entrance and drive straight back to Building 512, which is the building furthest from the road. The State Board of Workers' Compensation office is in Suite 400 of that building.
From Calhoun, Gordon County, and Points North:
Drive south to Rome on Highway 53 until, at the northern edge of the city, you come to the intersection with North Loop 1 (also known as Veterans Memorial Highway and the Rome By-Pass.) You will know you are at this intersection because the Calvary Baptist Church is on the right there. After turning RIGHT, drive west for approximately 1.8 miles on North Loop 1 (or Veterans Memorial Highway.) In doing so, you will go through one red light. You will then come to a second red light, which is at the entrance of State Mutual Stadium, the Rome Braves minor league baseball stadium. Turn LEFT there onto Riverside Parkway and drive south for slightly more than two-tenths of a mile, then turn LEFT into the RIVERSIDE BUSINESS PARK. Drive directly back to Building 512, which is the furthest building back in the complex. The Workers' Compensation office is in Suite 400 of that building.
From the Rockmart Area and Points South:
Drive north to Rome on Highway 101, also known as the Rockmart Highway. Inside of the Rome city limit, this highway becomes Dean Avenue. Continue due north on Dean Avenue, past East Central Elementary School on the left and straight through a red light, until it merges into Turner-McCall Boulevard, a four lane highway. Continue north on Turner-McCall past a Krystal and a McDonald's on the left, a K-mart on the right, and across a bridge, until you come to a red light at the intersection with Broad Street. You will know you are at this intersection because there is a Checker's hamburger shop there. Continue on Turner-McCall across this intersection and proceed on approximately four tenths of a mile until you come to the next red light. There is a Kentucky Fried Chicken combination Pizza Hut restaurant on the left at this intersection. Turn RIGHT onto Riverside Parkway and drive north approximately 1.2 miles across a railroad track and past several government office buildings, including the Labor Department office and the Social Security office, to RIVERSIDE BUSINESS PARK. Turn RIGHT at the entrance and drive directly back to Building 512, which is the building furthest from the road. The Workers' Compensation office is in Suite 400 of that building.
From Cedartown Area and Points South:
Drive north into Rome on Highway 27, also known as the Cedartown Highway. Inside the Rome city limit, Highway 27 becomes Turner-McCall Boulevard. Continue on Turner-McCall past a Krystal and a McDonald's on the left, a K-mart on the right, and across a bridge until you come to the red light at the intersection with Broad Street. From Floyd County:
The office is located in SUITE 400 of the 512 BUIILDING in the RIVERSIDE BUSINESS PARK, which is located near the northern end of Riverside Parkway. One easy way to get to the office is to go to Veteran's Memorial Highway, also known as the Rome By-Pass and S.R. Loop 1, and drive to its intersection with Riverside Parkway. This intersection is at the entrance to State Mutual Stadium, home of the Rome Braves baseball team. At that intersection, turn SOUTH - that is, away from the stadium, onto Riverside Parkway and continue south for slightly more than two tenths of a mile. This will bring you to the entrance of the Rome Business Park on the left. The 512 Building is the building furthest back from the entrance…..Another easy way to get to the office is to drive to the intersection of Turner-McCall Boulevard and Riverside Parkway, which is just east of the Oostanaula River. There is a combination Kentucky Fried Chicken/Pizza Hut restaurant at this intersection. At that intersection turn NORTH on Riverside Parkway- that is, away from the Kentucky Fried Chicken-- and drive approximately 1.2 miles across a railroad track and past several government offices, including those of the Labor Department and the Social Security Administration, until you reach the entrance to the Rome Business Park on the right. The 512 Building is the building furthest from the road.
