Some notable changes to the 2008 fee schedule are as follows:

Maximum allowable reimbursements have all been recalculated.

CPT codes were updated with code additions, deletions and revisions in accordance with the AMA.

Pharmaceutical reimbursement is unchanged from 2007.

Anesthesia base rate has been increased to $35.03.

Medical record copy reimbursement effective April 1, 2008 (remains unchanged from April 1, 2007).

Home Health Services hourly rates have increased by 10%.

Non-Emergency Transportation reimbursement have been issued state-specific codes and is included in the fee schedule.

MS-DRG codes have been implemented. Date of discharge has been adopted as date of service.
